I could tell you the session will be energizing and enjoyable—that we’ll capture some of your favorite images of yourself… but you may not believe me.
That’s why I’ve decided to record a couple of my sessions to show you.
I take headshots that make you fall in love with yourself—images that solidify a positive impression with clients and colleagues.
I provide an experience that’s actually enjoyable—even if you have anxiety when you first arrive.
How we capture impactful headshots
Most headshots look stiff, uncertain, or like something is just… off. You’ve probably seen headshots where the person looks awkward, uncomfortable, or it just doesn’t feel like them. That’s because most photographers don’t guide their clients through the process like I will in our session.
Instead of leaving you to figure it out on your own, I coach you through micro-adjustments in expression and posture to bring out the real you.
That means you won’t have to think:
“How does my face look? Do I look good? Do I look confident?”
You’ll be guided the entire session. You’ll have fun. And you’ll fall in love with the images we capture.

I’m not sure what your previous headshot experience has been like, but we’re going to take our time, have fun, and capture some great images.
After talking and getting comfortable with each other, I’ll have you get in front of the camera and adjust the lighting. We’ll continue to talk and relax until we are ready to shoot.
You’ll be given directions on how to bring out your best features. No pressure. No anxiety. We’ll capture headshots that display the person you want to show the world.

Depending on the style of headshots you're aiming for, we encourage you to bring a variety of outfit options. Avoid busy patterns, textures, or distracting necklines for a clean and professional look.
Business or Corporate Attire: If the headshots are for business or corporate purposes, wear your favorite suit or business dress, along with your crispest shirt and go-to tie. Ensure all clothes are cleaned and pressed beforehand, paying attention to collars that have become soft or fit too loosely.
Smart Casual Attire: For smart casual shoots, wear your absolute favorite clothes that make you feel confident and comfortable.
